• A Take on Tuscany w/ Marc Stotland on 4/28

For the final weekend in the month of April we'll be bringing in Marc Stotland of Mionetto. He'll be pouring some of his killer wines from his portfolio and be discussing the amazing wines in great detail.

    Check these out!

2015 Capezzana Barco Reale - A silky red with plum and light black tea character. Medium to light body, firm tannins and a fresh finish. Solid Carmignano.

2013 Capezzana Villa di Carmignano - Elegant, with notes of red and dark fruit with spicy aromas. Well structured, with rich, concentrated flavors of currant and wild berries set against a backdrop of silky tannins. Outstanding served with roasted or grilled red meat, lamb, polenta, mushroom risotto and semi-hard cheeses.

2013 Livio Felluga Vertigo Rosso - Vertigo Rosso is an intense ruby red with purple hues. Intense fruit-forward with aromas of black cherry, currant and blueberries integrated with sweet spice and anise. Full-bodied, elegant and well-structured with well-integrated sweet tannins balanced with flavors of ripe red berry and black berry fruit.

2015 Monrosso Toscana IGT - Fruity and smoky on the nose with allusions to charcoal briquettes, strawberry rhubarb jam, sage, and roast game. Soft and easygoing on the palate with loads of bright red fruit and citrus before green herbs and vine tomato take over on the finish.

2012 Castello di Monsanto Chianti Monrosso - Color is ruby red with nuances of violet. Intense aromas of ripe red berries. On the palate, soft and elegant with flavors of red berry fruit and a pleasant acidity, leading to a lingering finish. Pairs well with antipasto, grilled meats, burgers and Italian specialities.

    Tasting starts at 3pm
