• Brunello di Montalcino in Bothell 9/24

    Saturday the 24th at 3pm - 7pm
You wanted Brunello? Well, you GOT Brunello!

Now that it's getting colder out I've decided it's time to taste some serious Sangiovese! How REAL are these wines? Look at it this way...Brunello di Montalcino has to be 100% Sangiovese, must be aged in oak for 24 months, and most spend at least a minimum of 4 months in the bottle before us lovers get to indulge in the juice we all love.

Those that do not follow these strict rules...can expect to be charged with commercial fraud and also expect to spend around 6 years in prison.

This is one reason why I love these wines so much. The producers have to do the same as other producers, yet what differentiates this wine is the soil & passion for the vines.

Here's what we are getting into...

    2010 Sasa Brunello di Montalcino
    2011 Campogiovanni Brunello di Montalcino
    2010 Collosorbo Brunello di Montalcino
    2010 Fanti Brunello di Montalcino
2011 Ciacci Piccolomini Brunello di Montalcino

Come in and indulge in the wines that can age for decades.

    Santo
