• Aged Old World Wines Aged Correctly! 2/9

Tasting on Friday the 9th at 4pm
    $5 fee
How many times have you purchased a few bottles of wine to lay down in the cellar only to find out that a few year later the wine taste like ass? Maybe a winemaker or a wine magazine said it will lay down for 20+ years and to buy up only to find out less than ten years later the wine was already dead!

Did you know that only around 1% of the wine produced in the world is actually cellar-worthy? Look at it this way...that means that even in countries like France and Italy where they have been producing wines since the 6th century BC, only 1% of that wine will actually age correctly! So you think that local stuff you buy is going to cellar well for 20 years? While you're at it...I have this bridge back east I'd like to sell you...cheap...good deal! You get it now peeps?

This tasting is about wines we sell that have been aged correctly and that you van actually buy. Now I would love to get my hands on a bottle of Clos La Coutale from the 70s just to prove to you all that a $15 bottle can age very well but...don't have any.

So here's your chance to experience some older old word wines.

    2002 Chateau Lanessan Haut-Medoc
    2005 Chateau Aney Haut-Medoc
2006 Chateau Clos l'église Cotes de Castillon
    2006 Chateau Gombaude Guillot Pomerol
    2006 Chateau La Nerthe Chateauneuf-du-Pape

Put these in your pipe and smoke em'!
