A few years ago I conducted a German Riesling tasting in our old location and it started to snow. Needless to say the importer thought I was nuts for wanting to do a tasting when it was so cold out but I had this feeling...a feeling that if I opened them, they would come. Come they did. It was a complete sell out of the 2012 JJ Prum vintage for us. Times have changed, we're in a sorta-new location but from what I can read online...they are saying we might get some snow. Even better, I have a few newer vintages but the highlight should and will be...some older vintages. The prices on those older ones are so good...you'll wanna go home and cook up some kraut!
Check out these little gems!
2015 Selbach Riesling Kabinett
2001 Baumler Becker Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese
1985 Alter Weinhof Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Rieslings Auslese
2012 Leitz Rüdesheimer Magellan Spätlese
2015 Hexamer Meddersheimer Rheinggrafenberg Riesling Quarzit
Okay so maybe a lot of what is typed above in regards to names might not make sense but by the time you taste the wines...it will. Come play in the snow and sip on some truly amazing juice! We'll have a special guest/famous actor pouring the wines for us!
