• Tenuta Argentiera comes to Bothell on 4/6

    Friday at 4pm
The name Bolgheri conjures up thoughts of charm, elegance and beauty...so I figured after a hard work week we'd dive into some elegance, beauty and charm.

This amazing producer has only a few wines of which...we'll be pouring this Friday.

2015 Tenuta Argentiera "Poggio ai Ginepri" Bolgheri Bianco - With a blend of 20% Sauvignon Blanc, 70% Vermentino, 1% Viognier. This wine is like drinking a sunset on top of a hill while looking over some vines. Imagine some friends with you, cheese and meat being sliced and good conversation...you get my drift?

2014 Tenuta Argentiera "Poggio al Ginepri" Bolgheri Rosso - Intense and deep red color with purple reflexes. On the nose, intense and fresh with flowery aromas of violets and balsamic hints combined with red fruits like cherries, plums and blackberries. The palate is round, complex with ripe and sweet tannins. Nice fruity aftertaste with good acidity, which offers a long, lingering and fresh finish.

2012 Tenuta Argentiera "Villa Donoratico" Bolgheri Rosso -
This is very structured and layered with polished yet chewy tannins, chocolate, tar and blackberry avors. Full-bodied, round and delicious. Better in 2017 but excellent already.
    JAMES SUCKLING, August 2015

As you can read and count...only three wines, but these three wines will make everything alright.
