• Time for the Black Rooster on 1/6

    Tasting starts at 4pm
$5 tasting fee but free if you're in one of our wine clubs
When I started in the wine industry some 20 years ago I met one of my mentors who I still discuss things with. He asked me what my overall goal was? I replied that one day I'd like to open my own wine shop. He smiled and told me one thing...don't forget about the past.

Around 4 years later I started down the path of looking into old world wines. When we opened there was one section that I always noticed was very small in all the wine shops in the area...Chianti. When I asked several wine shop owners and employees of many well-known shops in our area I always got a smile and a response...it's just Chianti. That's when I knew...Chianiti needed to be a major focus.

Saturday we'll be tasting 5 different Chianti Classico.

2015 Fattoria di Pugliano, Chianti Poggio Vignoso

    2014 Poggio Scalette, Chianti Classico

    2014 Fattoria Selvapiana, Chianti Rufina

2015 Fattoria di San Fabiano, Chianti Putto

    2015 Gagliole, Rubiolo Chianti Classico

We'll be walking through each wine and breaking a few things down about the Chianti Classico wines that so many others tend to look over.

As of Jan 1, 2018 we will start charging a $5 fee for our tastings. If you are in one of our wine clubs...you'll taste for free. If you're not in on of our wine clubs...maybe you should join and find out when so many people have joined!
