This Barolo comes from the heart of the Barolo region, namely from the famous town of La Mora. Of course this is a 100% Nebbiolo. After manual picking from the organically managed vineyard (single vineyard), the wine was first aged for 24 months in large oak barrels and then received another 12 months of bottle aging before it became available. in the glass the Agricola Brandini La Morra Barolo del Comune di La Morra has a ruby red color. In the nose the wine is still somewhat closed and, as befits a Baraolo, just needs some rest and oxygen (just open the bottle 1-2 hours in advance). Extremely fine, spicy and then fruity, with floral notes of rose and currants. In the mouth a good body and exceptional softness, nicely structured followed by lively, young tannins with lingering persistence.
Only 14 cases brought into the state...I took four.
