Chenas is the smallest and arguably the least known of the Beaujolais crus. Aromas of cassis and raspberry pave the way to a glorious adventure in southern Burgundy. Vigorous, almost squirming flavors of squeezed ripe cherry, strawberry, and raspberry combine with a defined minerality that draws you in and leaves you feeling as though you were sitting in a petit bistro having a leisurely lunch, while outside the world turns to autumn.
