A kitchen-sink blend from southern France, this contains carignan, grenache, cinsault, merlot and syrah. Nicely done for the money, too. It's medium-bodied, with a supple texture and rounded midpalate offering up juicy dark berries and plum along with nuances of herbs, lavender and smoke. Drier than many New World multigrape blends that are the fashion these days, it's a well-structured little quaffer.
