It is a blend of Negroamaro and Primitivo in equal parts. The name Alberello derives from one of the first methods of vine training; known in France as Gobelet. Older bush vines are supported by wires forming a shape resembling a goblet. The wine has a very deep and intense ruby red color with blackish shades. It is an aromatic easy drinkable wine with red berries notes; characterized by a firm tannic structure; with a nice balance between soft and sweet. It goes well with almost all Mediterranea dishes. The harvest typically begins during the first week of September and it is carried out completely by hand. The wine is fermented and aged exclusively in stainless steel.
