The name Bàja is derived from the legend of Bajos, compagnon of Ulysses, who is said to have died and be buried right there in the village of Baia. We chose to make a Falanghina from a very special vineyard situated atop a promontory overlooking the sea right above the fishing village of Baia (NA) within the Campi Flegrei appellation. The combination of the vines sitting right above the sea and the volcanic soil, give this wine deep minerality and huge savouriness in the mouth.
