Russo Taurasi Irpinia Aglianico Macri 2018

Since 1800 the Russo family has owned a small plot of land in the municipality of Taurasi in Carazita. In 1999 Ermanno Russo decided to realize his dream by re-planting the vine in the place where he grew up, extending the property and building the cellar. L Aglianico, the native Irpino grape variety par excellence, finds here its perfect and natural environment, for the clayey nature of the soil and for its perfect sunny exposure from sunrise to sunset.

Macri is a red-colored wine with evident purple hues. The bouquet is intense and pleasant, with hints of red fruits and spices. On the palate it reveals a good structure and a persistent, slightly tannic finish.  13% ABV
