The 2015 Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru Clos des Monts Luisants Blanc, more than 85% of which hails from Aligoté vines planted in 1911, opens in the glass with notes of citrus zest, vanilla pod, pastry cream and hazelnuts.
On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and textural, with tense acids and a grippy, almost phenolic finish.
