On the nose we find a darkly spicy Pinot Noir with ripe, dark berries and cherries. It is full-bodied and juicy as well as fresh. In the background, one finds notes of wood and pepper.  On the palate the La Fussière Even fruitier than on the nose, but in a very pleasant and elegant way. There are ripe fruits of dark cherries, blackberries, dark currants and also a few plums. The acidity is present and lively, the tannin grippy and fine. The Pinot Noir shows a firm structure and is earthier and darker than the other red Burgundies from Thomas Morey's portfolio, but always silky and round.
