This handmade Riesling combines the richness of the over 90 year old Wehlener Klosterberg vineyard with the extract of Kinheimer Hubertuslay and the complexity of Erdener Herrenberg sites. A very floral bouquet with mirabelle plum, gooseberry and hints of kiwi fruit and juicy apple. Well balanced with minerality and clear fruit structure, it is a rich and modern, semi-sweet Riesling. 100% Riesling; alcohol: 11.5%; estate vineyards on steep slate slopes along the Mosel near Ürzig; some vines over 90 years; hand harvested; gently pressed; fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks for 3-4 weeks; aged 4 months on lees in tank.
