Bertani Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2011

Bertani has earned its reputation for quality Amarone production partly because of their deep respect for traditional winemaking techniques. Their Amarone is consistently crafted using careful bunch selection, meticulous attention to drying of the grapes, and use of Slavonian oak barrels along with additional 12 months of bottle aging. A wine worth the wait, the nose reveals typical plum, Morello cherry notes, followed by subtle notes of nuts, licorice, and spices, supported by vanilla and red berry fruits on the palate.
