NOT what you expect from a top Chablis estate! But an excellent expression of Saint Bris, the only appellation in Burgundy where the only legal grape is not Chardonnay, but Sauvignon Blanc. This drinks like the best of other "Alt Sauvignon" appellations (think Cheverny), presenting its lime, green melon, and tangerine citrus fruit in a sleek frame of noticeable minerality. It's a little steely - think dry Riesling - and finishes dry and long with just a hint of herb mixed in with the flowing, generous, citrus and melon fruit. Just plain fun to drink.
