Ruby red with violet notes, along with a nose of intense red fruit notes, with light hints of spices and chocolate. On the palate, it is full bodied with mature tannins and notes of spices and chocolate.  The 2019 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Cadetto opens in the glass with a dusty blend of dried sage, brown spice and crushed cherries. It sweeps across the palate with ease, soft and round, with juicy acidity that enlivens its core of ripe red and blue fruits. This finishes with medium length and a gentle, fine tannin. 13% ABV
