100% Cabernet Franc from Saumur, France

Located in the Clos Durandière, a walled vineyard on hard Jurassic limestone bedrock, distinct from the typical tuffeau soil in Saumur.  Known for being elegant and ethereal, with a focus on softening tannins.  Minimum two years in used barrels, followed by six months in vats, and a final six months in bottle before release.  Aromas of fresh red berries, blackcurrant, and pepper, with a subtle earthy and mineral component. It has a bright, elegant profile with silky tannins, lively acidity, and a long, balanced finish.  12.5% ABV
