Made from old meunier vines planted in 1963 on the lower and northern slopes of the Montagne de Reims. This wine comes from Les Dessus De Monthouzon, where the clay layer is thin with the chalk directly underneath, offering a complex, saline version of the grape variety. Taissy was aged for 10 months in barrels, corked for the foam, and spent 4 years on the lees before disgorging.
