100% Chardonnay

Multiple, small vineyard 100% Grand Cru parcels in and around the town of Le Mesnil sur Oger, in the Côte des Blancs. Soils are pure chalk (ancient fossilized marl and limestone).  Minimum 20-30 year vine age.  A yellow/golden hue and is expressive of this warm vintage, with enveloping aromas of lemon confit, poached golden apples, honeycomb, and pastry dough. It retains impressive purity in its richness on the palate, with a coating feel, a fluffy, rounding mousse, and a silky, chalky texture that smooths out the finish with a brothy, savory feel.  12.5% ABV
