73% Merlot, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc

Château des Demoiselles comes from Vignobles Ducourt based in Ladaux in the heart of Bordeaux's Entre-Deux-Mers. It has grown from small beginnings in the 1950s under Henri Ducourt into quite a substantial operation. Now spanning 14 châteaux and 450 hectares, it's still very much a family affair, with Henri's grandchildren Bernard, Philippe, and Marie Christine steering the ship.  

Aged for 12 months prior to bottling. On the nose there are delicate red fruit aromas with a touch of rich vanilla creaminess and this character follows through to the palate where the quite lusty flavours are held together by velvety tannins that lead on to the nicely rounded finish.14% ABV
