65% Merlot, 29% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot

Dark ruby red core with a lighter rim; deep, dark, not quite opaque purple ruby in color.  Notes of red currant, plum, bay leaf, red berries, and some new oak. Profound nose opening to black and forest fruit tones, with earthy and spicy undertones.  Medium-bodied structure with fresh acidity. Flavors include fresh red fruit, tobacco, plum, and black fruit core with hints of chocolatey notes at the end. Ripe tannins and freshness highlight the fruit aromas. A fresh, classic style with a rather long finish, comprising drying fine cedary tannins with graphite touches.  13.5% ABV
