100% Chardonnay

Offering up aromas of pear, orange zest and freshly baked bread, the 2023 Meursault 1er Cru Santenots is medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with a succulent, charming profile. Guillaume d'Angerville farms more than a hectare of white grapes in Santenots, originally planted with Chardonnay by his grandfather, Sem d'Angerville, in 1905. He maintains the tradition in fine form, and the 2023 is a delight, with ripe, buttery apple fruit aromas and a hint of hazelnut. The texture is rich and supple, luxurious rather than racy.  13% ABV
