Romorantin is an ancient, obscure grape variety native to the region that cannot be used for AOC status anywhere else in the world.  The name "Les Sables" translates to "The Sands," highlighting the sandy-clay soils famous in the region.  Romorantin yields a complex white wine characterized by high, electric acidity and a deep mineral core. Expect prominent notes of green apple, quince, beeswax, and citrus zest, often accompanied by a saline, mouth-watering finish. 12% ABV
