75% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre, 5% Cinsault
Sourced from the Roux family’s 13 hectares of vines grouped at “Ratanaud” at the top of the hill that shares the valley of the Aygues and Ouvèze. These old vines planted in the brown marls, covered with pebbles, enjoy the summer of cooler nights due to the altitude (+ 360m). The old vine stocks are manually harvested at full maturity. Aged in concrete vats for 60%, the rest in French oak barrels (of 3 and 4 wines); these two cuvées will be assembled before bottling.
Beautiful garnet robe with a fine intensity and a few amber reflections. An intense nose on spicy, black fruits and moka notes. The mouth is full, round, melted tanins, a fine length on ripe fruits notes.
