A Chablis that exudes perfume and grace, this regal Chardonnay gives surprising ripe fruit, despite the cooler, damp vintage. Citrus oil and Meyer lemons dominate on the nose. The silky-textured palate gives a note of cream, leading into a neverending finish, the perfect choice for sole meunière. Vincent Dauvissat is the current generation of this storied estate. The domaine has been estate-bottling their wines since 1931, longer than most of their neighbors.
