100% Tempranillo

Aged 18 months total (12 months in American oak + 6 months in French oak), with racking every 6 months.  Deep ruby, bigarreau-berry red with a well-covered garnet rim.  Elegant and complex, dominated by brown baking spices, ripe black cherry, dried fig, leather, and vanilla with a prominent note of cinnamon and crushed violet.  Rich and savory yet refined. It features velvety, well-polished tannins, layers of dark fruit, clove, eucalyptus, and a touch of sweet tobacco leading into a long, elegant finish. 14.5% ABV
