Château Roumieu's Sauternes AOC comes from Haut Barsac, one of the most prestigious areas of the Sauternes appellation.  Chateau Roumieu is the neighboring property of Doisy Daene.  Matured in oak barrels for an extended period (12-24 months), which contributes to its complexity and structure. On the nose, i ntense and complex, with notes of candied mandarin, white flowers, and honey. Some describe hints of roasted and flowery touches.  Flavors include candied lemon, apricot, and raisin, with a good acidity that provides balance to the wine.  14% ABV
