100% Garnacha

The wines of Comando G come from 50 to 80 year old vines in the Gredos mountains, an alpine area just outside of Madrid. Garnacha thrives there in the long growing season and the rugged terrain. Comando G is determined to bring focus back to the finesse of Garnacha. . Grapes were hand harvested, whole-cluster, natural yeast fermentation in an oak vat, 60-day maceration. 10 months in a 1200L French Oak vat.

Gentle and elegant, with finesse and perfume, very silty tannins and some herbal sensations, defined by the finesse and the nuance. It's medium-bodied, with a very long aftertaste marked by some sensations reminiscent of bitter cherries; there's nothing sweet about it. It opens up nicely in the glass.  14% ABV
