The Fornerot family has roots in Saint-Aubin that go back more than five centuries. Traditional Burgundian winemaking with manual sorting. The wine undergoes gentle extraction to preserve the purity of the terroir.  Aged for 15 months in French oak barrels. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered at the domaine.  The nose offers expressive red fruit (cherries, wild raspberry) complemented by subtle earthy tones, forest floor, and a touch of sweet spice.  Medium-bodied and fruit-driven. The deep clay-marl soils of the "Les Charmes" vineyard provide a solid, energetic core, bringing flavors of plum, dark berries, and a savory finish.  13% ABV
