Domaine Sylvain Pataille "Fleur de Pinot" Marsannay Rose 2023

Primarily Pinot Noir blended with Pinot Beurot (Pinot Gris), featuring old vines planted around 1932, 1934, and 1949 (approx. 80+ years old).

0-50% direct press and 50-60% short/extended maceration (3–4 days), ambient/indigenous yeast fermentation, aged in foudres (such as 48hl) and demi-muids, with minimal sulfur dioxide (SO₂) added at bottling.  Pale salmon-pink color with brilliant clarity. Delicate aromas of wild strawberry, fresh raspberry, redcurrant, and citrus zest, layered with rose petals, orange zest, and discreet flinty or earthy mineral undertones. Bright and precise with a creamy texture from extended lees aging, supported by vibrant acidity, red berry flavors, dried herbs, crushed stones, and a touch of spice.  13% ABV
