100% Aligoté Doré

Vines planted  between 1932 and 1961 (old vines averaging around 60+ years). Aged 12 months in used/neutral oak barrels.  Pale yellow with clear, bright green highlights.  The nose offers notes of lemon zest, crunchy green apple, ripe yellow apple, white flowers, and hints of freshly cut herbs, wet stone, and chalk.  A straight, lively, and chiselled attack balanced by a fine, coated texture from lees aging rather than harshness. Flavors of citrus fruits and white-fleshed fruits carry through the mid-palate. 12% ABV
