100% Pinot Noir

The wines, and winemaking, ofJérome Chézeaux are very traditional and non-interventionalist. A small portion of new oak barrels are used, never more than 30%. The vines in this parcel are up to 80 years old.   A dark ruby red. On the nose it shows wild fruit aromas of cherries and black currants with sweet and spicy accents. On the palate it is profound, powerful and again very fruity with a velvety texture and a pleasant freshness. A complex Nuits-St.-Georges that will only reveal its full potential after a few years of aging.  14.5% ABV
