The second wine of the famous Château Lyafon-Rochet, named in honor of the brave pilgrims monastery Saint-Jacques de Compostelle.  Benefiting from an exceptional, contiguous site, the estate, neighboring Lafite-Rothschild and Cos d'Estournel, produces a Saint-Estèphe of great depth, combining power, balance and distinction. Les Pélerins de Lafon-Rochet 2018 is expressing itself with great precision, after a year of bottle aging. The tannic structure blends perfectly with a precise freshness, carried by an elegant bouquet of crisp red fruits and ripe cherry, complemented by subtle notes of cedar, graphite and white pepper. This second wine of great stature perfectly illustrates the Saint-Estèphe style. It will continue to develop harmoniously and gain further complexity over the years.  14.5% ABV
