Limited Addition Piquet 2023

Piquette is an ancient beverage as old as wine itself, enjoyed as a low alcohol and sustainable beverage from Rome and Greece to the fields of France and Spain. In the past few years, it has fast become one of the hottest beverages in the natural and sustainable wine scene and among those that are well versed in beverages with a broad palate of flavors and styles.   Orange-rose wine, piquette is made from the skins of pinot gris, muscat, and riesling with the addition of Coast Range spring water.

Black pepper, grapefruit, cranberry-tea, totally smashable, the ultimate day-drinking beverage, and then some, wild berries and herbs.  This wine blurs the flavor categories between sour beer, orange wine, kombucha and cocktails, think gin & tonic, fruit-punch and herb-based cocktails or even use as a mixer in a modern-day whiskey sour. At 7% alcohol Piquette is intended to be a refreshing, simple, cheerful, quaffer or porch pounder.  7% ABV
