Maison L'Envoye Fleurie Cru Beaujolais Gamay 2020

Half of the fruit was de-stemmed and vinified in concrete. The other half fermented as whole clusters with traditional carbonic maceration contributing a floral lift and intense primary fruit. After 2 weeks the free-run juice was racked to stainless steel and neutral French oak where the wine continued its élevage.

Lilting aromas of violets and rose waft from the glass, along with red fruits and berries in this ruby-colored wine. Finely tuned flavors of pomegranate and fresh summer fruits are enlivened by a vibrant sense of acidity that leads to a supple finish. A racy wine with fine, well structured tannins.
