Mas Flauzieres Four Danuga Gigondas 2023

70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre

Mas des Flauzières is a farm which belonged to the Château d’Entrechaux in the Middle Ages. Since 1919, it has been owned and operated by the Benoît family.  Traditional vinification of manual harvests with a maceration of 21 days and aging in barrels for l year.  Grenache vines are 15 to 70 years old, Mourvèdre vines are15 to 30 years old and the Syrah vines are 15 to 30 years old.  

A superb, deep burlat red color with purple highlights. An expressive wine with peppery, spicy, liquorice tapenade and plum aromas. A very full, concentrated, dense, fleshy, easy-drinking, very fruity wine with silky, livelier tannins and good length and aromatic persistence.
