Nuiton-Beaunoy 'Les Montrevenots' Premier Cru Beaune 2023

100% Chardonnay

Beaune Premier Cru ("Les Montrevenots", located on the southern slope of Beaune on stony, clay-limestone soils at 300–320 meters altitude). Aged for approximately 14 months in 100% new French oak barrels sourced from the Allier forest (fine-grained wood with a medium toast).  Clean and expressive, opening with white orchard fruit, delicate white flowers, and a gentle touch of toasted brioche or fine oak spice from barrel aging. A lively, fresh attack that broadens into a rich, full-bodied mid-palate. Classic clay-limestone terroir drives a striking spine of chalky minerality. 12% ABV
