100% Pinot Noir

Sourced from communes including Cheilly-lès-Maranges, Dezize-Lès-Maranges, and Sampigny-lès-Maranges, featuring south-to-southeast-facing expositions on nutrient-rich clay-limestone soils at roughly 250 meters elevation.  Vinified in small, temperature-controlled vats with long aging on fine lees in French oak barrels.  Deep cherry-red to ruby red.  Intense bouquet featuring blackcurrant, blackberry, burlat and morello cherry, layered with gentle floral notes of violets and subtle spiciness.  Velvety, firm, and present tannins rounded off by morello cherry flavors and a spice-tinged finish.  12.5% ABV
