Peybonhomme VDF Blanc "Ruben" 2024

57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, 20% Colombard

The Hubert family settled at Château Peybonhomme-Les-Tours in the village of Cars near Blaye in 1895, and six generations have followed since.

Fermented and aged in stainless steel.  Grown using biodynamic methods.  The wine is made by direct pressing the grapes, before the skins (which give the red color) have time to tint the wine. This results in a light color, but with the structure and aromatic expression of black grape varieties.  Notes of crisp lemon, green apple, Asian pear, yellow peach, and apricot, featuring a waxy texture, minerality, and light spice, It finishes refreshing, round, with depth and complexity.  11.5% ABV
