Saison Apéritifs Spring Rhubarb Vermouth

Saison is small batch vermouth that highlights the beauty of the Australian seasons. Dave Verheul came about Saison when he conceptualised making vermouth more accessible for the Australian palate. Fresher, seasonal, singular ingredient-led flavour profiles rather than the traditional heavily spice and caramel driven palette of many European producers.    A shimmery pink. Organic rhubarb, early spring magnolias, violets and lavender are blended into Moscato base wine. The vermouth is bittered using two species of Australian grown wormwood and aged on a little more roasted rhubarb along with a heap of fresh spring lilac flowers.
