100% Pinot Gris
Albert Boxler comprises 19 hectares of which half are classed Grand Cru. Founded towards the end of the 1940s, the domain favours clean and careful growing. The wine displays a pale yellow to golden hue, enhanced by subtle coppery and gray highlights typical of high-quality Alsatian Pinot Gris. The nose opens with aromas of ripe pear and stone fruits, accompanied by delicate spicy notes. With aeration, a smoky, mineral dimension, enriched by nuances of white tea, honeysuckle, and beeswax.
On the palate, the wine offers generous texture and full structure, elevated by vibrant acidity and a mineral backbone. Flavors of ripe pear mingle with refreshing lemony accents. The finish lingers at length, persisting, with a sustained mineral expression and subtle smoky notes. 14.1% ABV
