Lo Sang del Pais translates to the blood of the countryside.  The Mansois grape, grown almost exclusively in the south of France, is otherwise known as Fer Servadou and is known for the iron-like hardness of its vines.  Ruby with violet or purple reflections.  Fresh red and black fruits, particularly redcurrant, raspberry, and blackcurrant, mixed with savory notes of black pepper, iodine, and green herbs.  Crunchy red fruit and tart cherries, with a "sappy" texture. The flavor is often accompanied by earthy nuances, bay leaf, and Sichuan pepper.  Medium-bodied, high-energy acidity, and rustic, fine-grained tannins.  12.5% ABV
