Domaine FL Savennieres La Croix Picot 2018

100% Chenin Blanc

Located on the heights of Savennières, the plot of La Croix Picot is based on a soil of schist and aeolian sands. The harvest is carried out manually with successive selections in order to obtain very high quality grapes.  No malolactic fermentation is carried out, allowing the wine to keep a richness of expression. The wine is aged for 12 months in oak.  

Aromas of citrus blossom, sliced pear, lime, honey, and white flowers, with subtle hints of vanilla and caramel.  Ripe and juicy yet clean and bright, underplaying its mineral power until an intense, crystalline finish.  13.5% ABV
