80% Cabernet Franc, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon

Domaine Fournier Longchamps is a family estate based in Rochefort sur Loire in Maine-et-Loire. It lies near the river Loire, 15 km southwest of Angers.  Carefully aged in oak barrels, Le Cochet develops an added complexity: a finely integrated oak influence that underscores the nobility of the blend without masking the fruit.  Aromas of violets and red berry fruits (strawberry, raspberry), subtle smoke, spice, and mineral undertones.  The palate is velvety, generous, and layered. It features a core of dark fruit flavors (bramble, dark berries) and a touch of licorice. The wine maintains a refreshing brightness with soft tannins and a crisp, lively finish.  14% ABV
