Grown in Iron-rich gray slate with quartz and quartzite-bearing sandstone.  The nose is highly aromatic and pure, showcasing sharp citrus zest, green apple, quince, and a distinctive smoky, flinty slate minerality.  The palate offers bracing and electric with laser-beam acidity. It is lean and extremely dry (trocken), offering flavors of tart citrus, white orchard fruits, and a savory, herbal edge.  10% ABV
