The alcohol level is modest but it features a certain finesse that is satisfying. It is best when young and ideally served with food. The color is ruby red with violet veining. The taste is vinous, pleasantly intense and persistent. Dry and appealing with wonderful cherry fruits on the palate which are complimented by soft tannins resulting in a sumptuously rich velvet wine.  If you've even wanted that wine you had when you were on vacation in Italy then came back to the states to try to find that ONE wine...this is it!
