Deep ruby red. Full, complex, and fine, with notes of tobacco, spices, cherry, berries, and balsamic. An enveloping palate, with elegant and persistent notes of plum, bitter cherry, strawberry jam, black pepper and licorice. Pair with mature cheeses, truffles, and roasted red meats.  This wine scares me in the same way that my cat always seems to be right behind me.  Like my fat 16 year old Maine Coon...this wine knows something.  It knows my life is better because I have this wine in my life and in yours. Unlike the cat...this wine won't barf on our rugs at 3am.  Wine comes in a 6pack wood box.
