This wine is a tribute to the second generation of the family, Juan Gil Guerrero, who was the first to bottle a namesake wine for the estate (founded in 1916). High-altitude, dry-farmed vineyards surrounding the flagship winery in Jumilla, Spain.  Vine age is between 70 and 80 years old.

Fragrant and expressive with typical high-altitude Monastrell notes of ripe blackberries, rhubarb, and herbal hints of rosemary and pine.   A silky, polished mouthfeel that emphasizes elegance over sheer power. It features dark fruit flavors integrated with subtle oak, providing a balanced, persistent finish.  14.5% ABV
